INFO:
In Canada, it's fairly common for parents to let their babies nap outside, even during the winter months! This practice is rooted in the belief that fresh air helps promote better sleep and strengthens the immune system. Bundled warmly in strollers or prams with insulated sleeping bags and layers of clothing, babies are often placed on balconies, porches, or in backyards for their naps. As long as the temperatures are safe-typically above - 10°C (14°F) -and the baby is properly dressed, outdoor napping is considered both safe and beneficial by many Canadian families.
